How To Make Relationship Building Easier?

My children are getting older. They have changing needs and they require more affirmation.

In the old order, I can get away with "Aha", "I see.." etc. As they get older they read right through that.

So what now? I've been focusing on my relationship with my oldest child. The influence that I have on my oldest (son) will gush into the life of my younger girls and boys.

If I cook my relationship dry with my oldest, there will be "jubbery stake" for my relationship with the rest of them.
